Summer Camp

As part of NMSU’s broader initiative to develop a Building Training and Assessment Center, this camp introduces students to the fundamentals of sustainable power through real world applications and projects. Throughout the program, students will work through assembling and testing wind turbines, using solar panels to wire circuits in parallel and series and use renewable energy to perform water electrolysis in Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) hydrogen fuel cells.

Guided by a curriculum reviewed by NMSU faculty and students, participants will not only learn the science behind renewable energy but also get a feel for how this technology works in this vital and growing field. This camp offers a unique opportunity to build skills, explore high-level concepts, and have fun doing it. Join us in powering a cleaner tomorrow, today.
